Our friend Jim Ziegler is a Glass Artist, a very famous and well-received Glass Artist represented by galleries in Sedona, Pinetop/Lakeside and California. URI is very proud to represent his work here in Pinetop. This guy is amazing! He can make anything you want—buffalo fireplace screens, etched plates with eagles, bears, elk, deer and long-horn skulls. He can make a fantastic cut glass coffee table etched with your favorite cowboy or cowgirl, front door windows, transoms. We have some of Jim’s work at the store and can make an appointment for you to meet with him if you want something really special. Jim is an “out of the box “thinker. You are in for a treat. Jim's website can be found here: www.artisticglassanddesign.com |

Urban Ranch is not an art gallery. We have selected Gicle’e (“zhee-clay”) art as the perfect accompaniment for our distinctive furniture and home accents. The art of fine art painting has become even more precise with the advent of the revolutionary Gicle’e printing process. This type of art reproduction is quickly becoming the new standard in the art industry, and is widely embraced for its quality by major museums, galleries, publishers, and artists. A Gicle’e print is the closest duplication of an original artwork that is technically possible—and it is 10% of the price of the original. The word Gicle’e itself is French and means spurt or squirt, in this case meaning “spray of ink.” From hundreds of ink jets more than a million droplets of ink per second are sprayed on a canvas or watercolor paper—when completed it is comprised of almost 20 billion droplets of ink. Is that cool or not! And we have it here, just for you! We feel it is the only affordable artwork that will meet the discerning needs of our client. |
